Pups have been rehomed but I took a couple of pics a few days before. Jelly between Aminatu and Biscuits. Mewlatto was in the basket behind.

When my guts stop being hateful I really need to organize and clean my room. LOL.

My dog does this whenever he smells bears about. He doesn’t leave the side by side, when he typically jumps out before we open the doors. Sure enough, they were there! Smart dog!

My 10+yr old float for the water trough gave up the ghost yesterday. Discovered it last night and got up early trying to fix it. Decided it would be easier to just get a new float and hose (as other hose was stuck to the float and was in bad shape). Gave me the opportunity to dump the muck out of the trough.
Kwai-Ying was happy about the fresh water.

How old is the the water trough, how long does a black plastic trough last in day to day use?

I'm trying to remember how old the trough is-- we got it when my dad was still alive (he passed in early 2009). We got it sometime between 2002 and 2005, IIRC. So it's well over a decade. I can't remember if we got it at a TSC or at a the local farm place that closed down. I can't speak for the more recent troughs, but this one is very durable. I think it might have resin in it but am not certain. This one has taken some abuse from angry animals-- cows & horse kicking it. Cow hitting it with her horns, etc.
Closest I can find to it for sale now is this Rubbermaid one from TSC. I miss our old Rubbermaid trashcans. They were sturdy.
Btw, steer clear of anything Countryline brand. It's absolute garbage. We got a countryline jet pump and within a week a rod in the piston cracked. Had 1yr warranty but when we tried to return it they refused to honor the warranty.
