A holler in Iowa
Month a April we was 41 inches above normal snow fall. Now it wants ta rain an catch up! Raisin cane with my plans. These days I like ta start a project an foller it through ta completion. Just ain't got the funds er sometimes the ambition ta multi task like I used ta.

Apple tree's be planted, garden ain't been touched. I need to get on that this here weekend. Yards, well, I got started rakin em then the rains came. The DECK, ugh, momma wanted ta get started puttin all her flowers an do dads out on the deck. Sunday we were gettin started. She says "would ya wash the deck before we start?". Sure, I get the hose then she says "I was hopin ya would power warsh it". Crap! Well, OK. So, mosta the day Sunday, most a Monday an Tuesday an it be power wasrshed. Yesterday I spent sandin it an still got a couple days ta go. Then seal it. Rained last night an taday so the deck be on hold.

So what ta do on a rainy day when ya can't work outside? I laminated some more maps this mornin. My collection be growin. Got about a 1/3rd a my topo's replaced with newer versions an a few town an city maps done. A bit of breakfast, corned beef hash and eggs. Now I thin it be time ta head ta town an get my running done. Some meat ta package up an freeze. This afternoon be time ta gather up some a the campin gear. When it gets this rain outa it's system be time fer some a that. An maybe a nap this afternoon! Deck project been kinda hard on this old fart.
