I watched the movie Bohemian Rhapsody the other day. It was not a bad movie. Pretty good if you were a queen fan in the day. That Freddie sure could sing. One of the better voices. Then there was Cass Elliot.

Not long after that album came out(Probly CD actually) I heard it in the truck one night that the wife was going somewhere with me. I told her when I heard the piano that was Billy Powell playing. Sure enough it was the latest Skynard album after release. I love that song almost as much as some of their original music. 38 special was a good southern band in the 70's and 80's. One of the singers was a brother of Skynards lead singer. He wasn't nearly as good, but the music and other lead singer was good. I saw them in concert 3-4 times and they were always a good live band.
Southern Rock always sounded special to me. The Eagles always fit into that mode as well.
