Listening to another texan today, Lyle Lovett, an incredible musician. The fiddle player is pretty darned good too! Together they take it to another level. If you like acoustic music you might like this.

Anyway, I listened to all or parts of several, not my cup of tea but to each his own. Me, acoustic stringed instruments, guitars, mandolins, fiddles, piano. Even piano/keyboards with a really good horn section. Got to hear ray charles one night. He had the rayettes an upright bass and a 12 piece horn section. Awesome show at a small theater in Portsmouth Virginia!

A guy from near hear played Guitar on that album. It was kick ass for sure in the day

Thought I would share some info on the local guy that used to play with Pat Travers. His name is Jerry Riggs. Before they signed a contract to record they were a regular in a couple bars around here. Always had huge crowds. Here is a song from his first bands self titled album.
