Summer hasn’t come yet. It was 35 degrees this morning when I woke up and fresh snow about 500 feet up the mountain from my place. It’s warmed up to 38 degrees.

Nutty weather: the air is "heavy." Yesterday warm and pleasant then torrential downpour! Today, humid and warm 82* w/ a red flag warning for winds to start here in about 5 min. 50 mph until 9pm. I imagine we'll see something. Supposed to cool off again tomorrow.
I don't trust the weather forecasters anymore, but Teddy has gone to the "safe place" so I believe rain is coming.
Somehow, Teddy knows the safest spot in the house, under the Main I beam and next to the plumbing stack.
When it's really bad, he is in the downstairs 1/2 bath sleeping in front of the commode.

Talk about crazy weather, it's 72°!!

What's it like where you live, weather-wise? Strangely cool today. In the 70s, low 80s. Humid. Very overcast all day. I so hope the weather stays weird instead of normal.
It is true, I haven't been around much. Worries, concerns, planning, you know, sometimes it's worse than other times.

Been in the 70s here for several days. Very nice weather for this time of year
It was 90* today with red flag wind warnings in effect until 11pm for 50 mph winds. The air is brown. Tomorrow is supposed to be much cooler and nicer.

supposed to be dry for the next couple days, so I might get to mow and spray roundup on the stuff I don't welcome 
Yay, no storms overnight! The warm front lifted into Oklahoma and let them have all the rain! It's a foggy sauna outside right now, strange for June! Hopefully drying out for the rest of the summer!!
Thunder woke me up about 4:30 this morning. Big thunder!!! Went on for 10 minutes or so. Got up around 8, it had been raining. Got more rain this afternoon. A soggy mess outside...

It was about 82f here yesterday, slightly overcast today so far no breeze. Giving thunderstorms in the west with spot flooding, and rain for us on the weekend. As well as my empty barrels, every bucket I own is strategically placed!
We got .15" of rain yesterday evening. 81 degrees. Suppose to be clear and low 80s thru Saturday
Hot, humid, chance of severe weather again later!

Storm chasers were parked on the side of a nearby road on my way home talking. One local guy, two gals from Abilene (girls who chase
), and two guys from Kansas. I stopped and talked with them. Apparently my area is a severe storm hot spot today!! Updates as the events unfold!!

Missed the horrible storms, all north and east of me! Giant hail (grapefruit size), 80mph winds were the big issues. Three killed in the pan handle (tornado), and several house fires from lightning! The humidity is much less today, nice breeze this morning!
I'm under a severe storm warning until midnight. Started raining about a half hour ago. The rumble of thunder is almost continuous. Looks like the worst is going south of me.

Our humidity ugh 90% yesterday. Freaking hot, just HOT. Overcast, cloudy, sunny. A little breeze. Very poor air quality.
It currently is 95 in the shade of my front porch at 3:15 PM.
I’m outside putting up wire field fence, expanding the dog outside area.
I sunk the PT fence posts yesterday, at age 74 the Earthquake power auger will give ya a work out.
I’m bracing the end posts so I can stretch the wire using my homemade attachment and a come along. Don’t want to think I’m about done and pull the end post over.
Taking frequent breaks in the A/C and drinking a lot of water.
Ahh, farm life!! Ain’t it grand????

86 mostly mowing. Somewhat of a breeze. Hot enough, but not just nasty
95°, very humid, severe storms south of Abilene heading this way!
