It rained hard here for a little bit, lotsa lightning. Kept filling a quart container in mere seconds with overflow from a gutter to water some plants. And when it was gone, clear sky.

Some areas got over 2"!!

Well, I just had to go and blab about that.
The bottom dropped out on us and 1.25" of rain poured in less than an hour!
Edit: With round #2, total= 1.48".
