Here snow was all gone when I left for grocery ...but I had to push snow off my car

Currently 67 degrees, but it was warmer today. We had a couple short rains, so it feels cooler than it is. We are supposed to get more rain this weekend. Two dogs staying with me this weekend love to be outdoors, but not in the rain, so I suppose we will be in and out to see if they can go out.
Updated forecast, bad storms tonight, and not again until Saturday evening and night! East Texans, LOOK OUT!! Y'all are under the gun!!

My daughter just text me that in Kileen/Belton, Tx, there are tornado warnings blasting the entire area. As usual, my family is panicked beyond belief.

I'm just barely out of the severe weather area! Always nice when it slips on by! It is like soup outside right now, 80° and crazy humid! I'll be under the gun tomorrow afternoon, and everyone east of me who is getting slammed now will have it all again tomorrow!!
East Texas is really having it bad!! Grimm!! Plenty of tornadic activity and large hail!!

The high today is projected to be 89 degrees. And I see that we have a chance of rain almost all day. That generally means a lot of humidity & not a drop of rain will fall. It's very common for storms to come up to our town & divide, going on each side of it but not raining IN it. I think that we have enough concrete that it causes heat to rise & that serves to divide the storm clouds. It's either that or mother nature hates us.

Just got a tornado warning...hearing thunder, too.
70s sunny and breezy. Dumped .48" out of the rain gauge this morning
The line of storms from west Texas up into eastern Kansas sure is dropping a lot of tornados! The one out by Willbarger Tx is described by the NWS as "large and dangerous"!! Storms will be in the DFW area after midnight!

Our tornado watch ends around 7pm. So far, so good. I don't want what's happening north.
I only thing did experienced was

85f today, no storms, partly cloudy but plenty of sun too. If I can make it til may... After the 1st of may tornadoes tend to be north of me. I've had a quiet April. The ohio valley is under the gun now.
Seems like we escaped the worst of it thus far, but more coming tonight and tomorrow.
