Dinner tonight is leftover "we are out of sloppy joe mix". An interesting dish, really. it started to be Manwich, buuuuuttttt there were "issues" so it became "Taco Stuff" with onions, tomatoes, peppers, etc.

It's St Patricks day, so it was paired with Guinness and a bit of Jamison.

Corned beef and cabbage witn carrots and onions tossed in. Cooked spuds on the side because the crockpot was full. We also had some crusty bread on the side.

I put a pot roast in before I left for work so it will be nice and tender by the time we return home. Should be nice and savory: Garlic salt, pepper, onion, borage, bay and thyme.

Hamburger steaks with onion gravy, mashed taters, creamed corn, Kings Hawaiian rolls! Big glasses of milk!!

day before stuffed pepper casserole ( the lazy way of doing stuffed peppers)
day before that chicken noodle soup and German yeast cake with apricots and streusel to go with it
today Kimchi stew and rice

I deboned 4 ginormous chicken thighs and ground them into 2 lbs of burger meat.

Dinner was grilled chicken burgers topped with honey mustard and havarti cheese. No buns needed.
