Our half a cow is arriving shortly. Need to pack the freezer.
Reading that half asleep and visions of front half or back half walking up the drive sprang into my mind... I'm down to 1 load of laundry that needs to be done before I can switch gears and finish packing.

I might plant some more containers for my indoor growing station, just to feel productive.

I worked int greenhouse putting onion, shallot, and leek seeds into 4x4 inch pots. 54 pots total.

I have order more plant labels.

I took Mom for her appointment with the diabetes specialist. The company that supplies the cgm and insulin pump have been trying to call us but couldn't get through bc AT&T sucks and our landline has been down for over a month. Had to call from my cellphone and restart things with them. Mom wanted to go to Walmart afterward and took her sweet time. Picked up my brother's insulin. Got home to brother fuming bc he failed to listen to me the 3x I told him Mom had an appointment, the time of the appointment, etc. He also ignored me when I'd asked him what time he was supposed to be at work today. He called in bc I didn't make it home in time to drive him.

I pulled the meat off some rotisserie chickens. Took Mom's socks off and tucked her into bed. She's not feeling well after the trip into town. Her blood sugar was too low this morning so she had to eat some candy. She's regained over 20lbs and is not happy about it.

I have a minor sinus headache so will be taking a nap soon.

Our dog has had diarrhea for 4 day.
I'm going on a Walleye fishing trip Thursday night and staying in a hotel so he needs to be over that before we go.
Blood work, X-Ray, medicine, office visit and special cans of food.
$586.
I should leave him and my wife home and went fishing for 3 days instead of just one night.
As an added bonus the freeway between here and town is closed both ways because an irrigation culvert washed the road out so you have to detour around that area.
On the plus side I bought gas for $3.00 a gallon.

We have a speaker at each of our Kiwanis meetings on Mondays. I asked the sheriff to speak at this one about what he and his deputies are doing for the county. He's involved with a lot of things, like the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and American Legion. He's coming and it always comes with a catered lunch, so it will be nice. Then taking a friend with dementia and his dog to the veterinarian and a city council meeting this evening. I go to the city council meetings to see what's going on in the city and sometimes I give them some input.
The sheriff gave a good presentation and then we sat at our table and told dirty jokes.

woke up too early and sort of in a bad mood. My thumb/wrist still hurts, and it is still freezing. Done with winter but we have another month

did go to the farm store for feed yesterday, plus propane refills plus groceries
no new lambs yesterday

today driving again, have to go sign and get the taxes and my photos developed

Going to be a beautiful day today (80°)! I have my regular Tuesday job, should be home early. It's Hubby's birthday today and he actually ended up with the day off. He's building an extra carport for his extra golf cart (the one he was going to sell when he got the nicer one but can't seem to part with it🙄)! So he'll have a nice day doing something he's been looking for time to do. If all goes right, I'll be giving the pool float a trial run!!

Tell your husband HAPPY BIRTHDAY for us!

Coffee, taking it easy today 'cause I had a little wreck yesterday fixing the shop cats private entrance

K signed the offer letter from the Texas company. He reports for his first day April 15. We move April 1. Time to buckle down and get it done.

He will be giving his 2 week notice on March 1. We both expect his current company to let him go right then and there. Not what we prefer but we are ready. No more rent needing to be paid at this overpriced dump so that will not be a concern but we will still need to cover normal bills and expenses until his first check with the new company a month and a half later. Glad we have savings.

Sounds like a lot of work, but I'm glad you have something in writing and solid dates!

Walked earlier.
Ordered some needed items on internet.
Going to walk dogs, next.
Yesterday, we had leftovers for dinner, so will be making the lasagna rollups today.
Will deliver some to a shut in friend.
Maybe vacuum out my jeep.

Turning into a traveling man for a day... or so.
Safe travels and prayers Mrs. UH does dandy!

Does any one know how I can paste one of my stories copied from my documents?
I think you can attach it using the attachfiles button , i think just copy and paste into the box. someone will show up with better info soon

I sometimes copy the relevant sections from a word or odt doc then paste them to note pad. This removes formatting leaving a text file. I then copy the the text and paste it to a new post here to the forum.

or...

Save the new text file to my drive then attach the text file to a post i make here.

Is this helpful or is the issue something else? Wasn't quite sure what you're trying to accomplish.

That explains it, thanks.

Not very good at not doing stuff, I got bonked on the top of my head with a fairly heavy object, thankfully it didn't fall far but it still hurts to bend down, and I prolly don't want to jar it, so kind of have to behave for a while. Good thing it wasn't higher. Getting lots of coffee drank.
