The idea is that if you are going to bug out you do so before it gets bad. If you wait until it gets bad before you go, you will likely not make it.
If you bug out and the world doesn't collapse then you come back and talk about the great weekend you had at the cabin.
Either way prepping is about being prepared AND taking action.

If you don't have a bug out location, you have no use for a bug out bag. You need an "I'm never coming back" bag.

The thing about bugging out, is if everyone bugs out somewhere, aren't we all just trading places?

I do like my bikes. I have a XR650L dual sport for a scout bike. I have my big bike Vulcan Voyager to go and do. A HD Dyna Super for putting around within a couple hours of home and a 800 Vulcan C bobber for general putting around. And a HD Sportster that I might turn into a dual sport. Not too sure on that yet. And a Buffalo big fat tire mini bike for going about the farm area.
