Since my hens started laying again.... and I had bought a dozen eggs a week ago...

Tonight I made a big batch of Egg Salad! It turned out good but I didn't add enough salt... Thats what the shaker is for.

A bad storm is about 2 hours away and I might lose electricity... So I'll have an egg salad sandwich, chips and a green salad followed by peach cobbler then batten down the hatches for the storm.

I didn't eat anything yesterday and today I am fasting until at least dinner. I have a physical and the form said 12 hours fasting, decided to make it at least 36 hours. Wife has something called "butter chicken" planned for dinner tonight.

I'm leaning towards baked fish,

Gonna make our own chicken and cheese sliders ( chicken tender, swiss cheese) the leftover haluski and some green beans

We've made it a habit to eat dinner leftovers for lunch the next day. The kids didn't like this at first, they want mac and cheese, burritos, something new for lunch. But are used to it. The only way I could enforce it was to make sure we eat lunch together. I put all the leftovers out, and some fresh fruit and veggie sticks. I'll add pb&J in case there's not much in the way of leftovers, and make lemonade. That's the choices. Got tired of leftovers going to the dogs. I have a bunch of extra cooked bierock meat from the bierocks last night, so I'll probably put it with pasta sauce and noodles for tonight's dinner.

Beans and Wieners, I found a fancy recipe to try out :

KETO style beef stew, my wife and brother got taters, peas, and carrots with theirs.
They got cherry pie for dessert... I got air balls.

For lunch today I thought I'd try a recent purchase, made to supplement our survival food. Hamburger Helper. Well, I guess that only works if your hamburger admits that it needs help, and evidently mine didn't. Yeuch. It's pretty bad when a companies product gets bumped off the "survival rations" list. I bumped it right off the "dog survival" list as well. That's pretty low. No more of that stuff for me. Browned hamburger alone, with nothing mixed in it, is 1000% better.

Tonight will be spaghetti with meat sauce and salad. That's always good.

I had boudin balls with nacho cheese on top. First time I've had them in years & it reminded me why I stopped eating them. Turned my back end into a faucet & made me nauseous the rest of the day. I was too sick to make dinner.
