In the crock-pot I have chicken, cream sauce, celery, sage, cilantro, rosemary, and I'll add broccoli a bit later. I'l make some baking powder biscuits for my wife and brother to pour it over. I have some banana nut bread for their desert.

"Crispy" AIP drumsticks (glaze is avocado oil, fresh rosemary, salt and fresh garlic blended to puree) with rice and veggies. K loves the legs so much I have to make them once a week with plenty for him to take to work the rest of the week and the kids to eat for lunch at least once.

Lunch, half of a turkey on rye and a Greek salad.

Gonna throw some fish in the air fryer.

I was going to make up several batches of meatballs (beef, bison, and sausage), to have a bunch in the freezer ready to go for future meals. Decided today is not that day, lol. Been working all day on organizing the basement - just feel like sitting down awhile...

Butter beans, big salad, cornbread, dark chocolate.
Snappy1, I like the thought of dark chocolate as a side dish on my plate! Can you just imagine it sitting there? Or a bowl of chocolate on the table with tongs for picking up your next slab of chocolate. I'll be right over. Dinner at Snappy's!

Pick me up, we are going to Mississippi! Snappy, just leave our plates in the fridge, you may be in bed when we get there!!😁😉

Grilled chicken, roasted potato wedges, and salad. My wife found some kind of miniature blue potatoes (they were dark blue all the way through - regular potatoes, not sweet potatoes). That side dish was nothing but potatoes coated in olive oil and Himalayan red salt wrapped up in foil and grilled next to the chicken, but they sure were good!

Posole made with red chiles daughter's boyfriend made this week. Daughter and her boy friend do some excellent cooking and always offer me something to take home when I go there. They are in the make a big pot and freeze meals mode, like I am. The freezer/microwave/dishwasher containers I bought are getting a good workout by all of us, including people who are getting a meal to go. We can rotate meals, have a meal ready when we need something to eat in the freezer, save a meal for someone, package up a meal to go for someone.

Tonight will be Thai green curry with chicken, Sesame shrimp, Crab cheese wontons, Egg drop soup, Shrimp summer rolls, California roll, Lucky roll, Kobe beef roll, white rice. (I'm not cooking all that yummy stuff - I'm picking it up for the three of us!)
Love this kind of food. I'm working on not eating out or getting food to go to catch up financially after Christmas.
