I second the suggestion for a chiropractor. But not just any chiropractor, find one that graduated from Palmer College or Chiropractic. 1/3 of all chiropractors graduated from Palmer so it shouldn't be to difficult to find one.
I have been to many different chiropractors and most of them just want to push, twist and crack. Maybe it will feel better for a bit but it isn't fixing the problem. Last September I was visiting Michigan and my back and hips were really bad due to sitting all day in the cars and on the airplanes, and because my back always hurt anyways. A good friend is a chiropractor and she took X-rays and showed me the problem and gave me an adjustment which helped quite a bit for my week long vacation. When I got back home I went to my chiropractor, showed him the X-rays and the written radiologists report and he shrugged and said I am getting old. Called the friend and she said he didn't know how to fix my problems so she looked up a Palmer graduate in my area and sent me to him. He took more X-rays and called my friend and compared each others X-rays and opinions and started me on regular visits, 3 times a week for a few weeks then twice a week and now once a week. I am seeing very noticeable improvements in my discomfort, my walk, my sleep, and my overall health (digestion, mood, energy, etc)
At the 3 month mark he took new X-rays and every thing that was out of place is at least 25% better, with several being over 30% better and a couple being 90% better, meaning my hips, back, and neck are getting closer to where they belong.
If the other chiropractor was doing any good why did I have so many things out of place?

This what a good chiropractor will do on your first couple of visits. This is the first and only time (aside from my friend in Michigan) where a chiropractor started with X-rays and showed the X-rays and measurements and related problems. (Subluxations are places where things are out of alignment.)

(read this part real fast like at the end of a TV commercial: I am not a paid spokesperson for Palmer College of Chiropractic, the testimonial is given voluntarily and without compensation, do not try chiropractic adjustments yourself, do not have a chiropractic adjustment while skydiving or scuba diving, do not use my credit card to pay for your chiropractic adjustment, chiropractic adjustments should only be performed by Palmer graduates.)

Our chiropractor is also a neurologist- he doesn’t twist or contort us but uses a little thumping hammer thing that he uses then offers suggestions like PT

I need to find a good chiropractor. For the past 10 years or so I've had a lot of pain in my back and hips. Went to a surgeon a few weeks ago and he took some x-rays and said I had a herniated disc in my lower back. I want to try something else instead of surgery first. Sometimes the pain is so bad that I can't walk, the wife has to help me across the room. At times when working on the fence I'd have to crawl from post to post. The work still needs to get done. Hopefully a chiropractor and/or a good massage therapist can do some good.

Pulling a little hair out.
After 10 years I finally had one of my CC numbers get leaked.
I use 2, one is for everything local, the other one for everything 'away'.
Chase texted me that they had declined a charge of $164.91 from Mcafee.com/autorenewal on the 'away' card.
They asked me to reply 'yes or no' if it was me.
If no, they will close the account and send me a new card.
God bless the robots!:huggs:
It knew 2 things:
1. That total is never the amount for a McAfee renewal.
2. My McAfee renewed last August and won't be due until this August.
Case closed.
I will have to change the CC number in 5 places online though.
Edit: I went online to check if there was any other fraudulent charges made, and in less than 2 minutes after text replying "no", my account had a new number.
No other fake charges had been made either.:)
Well, this gets even better:(...
One of the accounts that is set up to 'autopay' with this card is my EarthLink email.
I have maintained this since the late 90's as witnessed by my: @Mindspring.com email address.
Since I think ahead, and know I will have change the billing CC number soon, I clicked on the 'my account' tab...
Blank page.
Tech support was NO HELP.gaah
"Locked out" be me.:(

Yes, my guy used the springing thing too. I was skeptical at first because he wasn't doing anything but using the spring thing and pushing on my hips but within a few weeks I was noticing the improvement. If I ask, when I notice my neck being uncomfortable, he will adjust my neck. Last week he got so much movement in my neck it felt like my head was floating (in a good way) Constant improvement.
@INresponse I'm happy for you that your daughter is willing to meet with you and have a meal. I hope that continues.
You're going to be at a show in Ft. Worth? Hey, @Pearl road trip.
Glad your back is better and from good chiropractors.
Thank you. She and I had some great conversations about her college classes and where she might want to live and where she definitely does not want to live ... Las Vegas. I am glad she recognizes why I despise Las Vegas.

Fort Worth from March 2 - 6. ASI, advertising specialty institute, is a trade show for anything related to custom decorated advertising. Or in my case also for personal, family, or group items like sport teams or clubs or uniforms.

I also have a herniated disc. I blew it out bad in '95 and although I did not want surgery I could not have missed that much time from work so I just worked through the pain and discomfort. The good news is comparing my initial X-rays with the 3 month X-rays it shows the vertebra separating so whatever he is doing is allowing at least a little fluid to build back up in the disc. I saw the X-rays so I could see the improvement.
But, a good deep tissue massage goes great along with the chiropractor. Don't think deep tissue is always painful, they will ease up if you ask or if you say go deeper they will dig in and work out the knots.

Heard another explosion, was a little further away sounding but still right here in my neighborhood, at least it sounds like it. Go outside, no smoke or parties going on. What the heck?!!
A little while later, daughter was driving through the neighborhood and saw an emergency truck and guys decked out in their protective gear, hustling around. She turned around and went out a different way. I still wonder. Should I be glad they're not my neighbors? I wonder what it was like living next to Albert Einstein...

Wellll, ya know ......
There are times .......
Don't let the glasses and bowtie fool you.

Hubby was working on some knives 🔪 as gifts 🎁 but the sun was shining today. So about 11-11:30 he texted and asked if I had any ideas for a sunny afternoon. So I made him go fishing 🎣. He caught a steelhead swinging a fly he tied so he was excited. I finally remembered to take my grandfather’s gold mining pan and give it a whirl. It didn’t work 😉. I don’t think you can just pan for gold anywhere, but I had to at least make an attempt since it was his. I hadn’t panned for gold since I was about 6 so it was fun (but cold). A beautiful day.

Boo woke me up early & insisted it was canned food o'clock. So I fed him and went back to sleep. Went to post office then Samsclub for curbside order. Thought about going in but was feeling miserable. Almost fell asleep in the way back. Went in to walmart for RX and stuff Mom requested. RX was not ready and pharmacy was going to close for lunch so I popped in to TSC for cow feed. Got home, fed cows, dissected rotisserie chicken. Went online to request refund for 2nd chicken that I paid for but was not in the order (they said there was only 1 available but still charged for both). Got my refund. Napped. Went back to get RX. Came home. Napped again. Cooked for Mom. Napped. Took meds. Will probably nap again soon but I want more to eat.

T-storms got me back up at 3am, Bear was worried about his kitty that is afraid of storms, so I went out to the den to sit with the critters! Was glad Bear went out at 2am to pee before the storms hit. Hubby came to the den too and slept on the sofa with Bear, so nobody got much sleep around here 🤪! Going to clean my building this morning and coming straight home. Still need to do some house cleaning of my own🙄! Also need to figure out some kind of menu for the week!

Hate landings love take off in the big planes.
My number 1 panic attack causing phobia I have had all my life is flying. I HATE the taking off the most. At least at the landing it is almost over
First time I had a panic attack in a plane was flying to England from Germany ( short flight) as a teenager. I was very lucky, the airport was on strike on the way back and we had to take a boat across the Channel , that made me very happy

I take prescription drugs to get on , so I don't avoid it but I truly hate it.

still raining, not looking forward to cleaning the barn, everyone was in all day yesterday
the sheep will have to go out at least for a little while or we can't clean, but they will be fine, it's not that cold out, maybe 40s. We just don't put them out if it is pouring all day like yesterday . They will just stand at the pasture gate and looks sad ( goats will scream their heads off if left out in the rain, they really hate it but have the larger part of the barn and don't make that much of a mess)

got some lettuce seeds at the store yesterday on the way back from meeting, so I will plants those today ( indoors for now)

have extra dishes to do today since I didn't cook or do dishes yesterday, we got back late from meeting and shopping, dog didn't go on a hike either in that weather

Hoping to get to that big branch today after animal chores or after lunch. Little granddaughter's mom will be by to visit her this afternoon, so they'll most likely be upstairs talking and doing some art project together. Not much of a superbowl watcher, but husband will probably watch parts of it and then he can talk to his mom about it. She is a major sports fan. Maybe get something else cleaned out today, too. We'll see.

Back at work again.
One of our big projects kicks off tomorrow. Glad to get it started. Then a meeting late morning about the 2nd big project. Just some planning work on it, work probably won't start on it until April/May. Project 3 is currently scheduled to start in May, but I'd bet it gets pushed. Project 4 will start as soon as #2 is done. 1, 2, & 4 all have to be completed by end of September. #4 is in a huge building of 2 wings and 7 floors.

I LOVE your avatar picture!! I was never a solid sleeper. Just a little sleep here, a little sleep there😴.
I was once a good sleeper, but lately up every hour or two with bladder discomforts.

North Texas and Texas panhandle thunderstorms is something I remember clearly from my late teen years. I was headed from Lubbock to Amarillo, when I saw a tornado on my left moving parallel and away. I floored my VW bug and was suddenly hit by a flash flood. I pushed on but was slowed to a creep when my motor got drowned out.

After the rain stopped, I got out to dry the distributor. I had to take off my shirt due to not having any rags in the bug. Luckily I wore a crop top under so I wasn't too embarrassed when the State Patrol pulled over to see if I needed help. It started up, so onward I went with a dirty shirt.

Every time, I think of this, I hear Stevie Ray Vaughn playing and singing, Texas Flood.

I wish my wife would "make" me go fishing. Instead I'll make some jerky today. I've also been inspired to make some hot sauce.
