    Sewing help please...

I use an old singer 66...beefed up motor and adjusted to sew through many layers of canvas and thin leather...I would like a better machine someday though. A walking foot would be nice. I have a shoe patcher hand crank I need to motorize..that may be worth a try.

    Sewing help please...

Soooo....I was sewing the mexican "baja" blanket for a seat cover...and....it does not want to feed well, goes and stops, etc...should have known it would be weird being such a loose weave but spaced it. Is there a backing tape or other trick I can put on to help it feed normally? Thanks!

    2001..ish...Mercedes c230....

Well darn, fuse box did fill with water...fuses rusted, ecu sits next it, water rusted through pin from ecu, I'm sure there is more going on but why look further. Ecu needs programmed at dealer with new or used ecu...not worth it.

Yup, may bring to place this week to drain gas/clean fuel lines...do all the basic free checklist stuff. I'm not sure if he even checked the fuel pum or spark at the plugs, after the key and battery he was ready lo light it on fire...didnt bug him to much with questions lol.

Ha, thanks. Looked at it today, was mechanically fine when parked, appears water got in the main fuse panel under hood, no destroyed suff put definitely has light rust on stuff, all electrical works, cranks but no start. May fiddle with it a bit to diagnose more... This is almost free if I bite...

    Fabric tractor cover

Ah...would probably try screen door screen stapled to the rafters above the tractor then, combined with a cover. What is the make and model of your tractor? Probably expensive But youd think someone would make a decent cover. I've Never heard of paint wear from rubbing, crazy! For my log...
