I need to get some of those "Magic Plastic Furniture Covers"! When I was a kid, a grt aunt had plastic covers on every chair in her house.
During summer I wore short pants, her house had no air conditioning. After 10min of sweatin in alabama heat her plastic couch became an indoor slip n slide.

1919 Studebaker Convertible
Steve and his '66
After WW2 dad bought a new wood/canvas canoe and he and his friends used to paddle around Belle Isle on the Detroit river. Dad took and old wind up phonograph and made a mount for the canoe so he could listed to music. Here is a picture of the old phonograph, I still have it, and I have the canoe. Maybe next year I will put them both to use on the reservoirs around here. I will have to ask my nephew to send me a few of the old records he inherited. Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin. Hopefully the needle is still good.
