Since bad health keeps me inside a good bit, I write fiction as a hobby. I have a historical novel with elements of fantasy that is meant for children in the 3rd to 5th grade range. The adults I've had read the story have liked it, but I have no children, nephews or nieces, and the students I work with as a volunteer tutor either can't read or are too old for the story. I can't find a publisher that is interested, but I need some input from potential readers before I consider self-publishing. Can anyone help?
Anyone have access to 3rd-5th grade children?

Little granddaughter is a young sixth grader, should of been in fifth grade. Neighbor boy Levi is a fifth grader, but has a hard time with reading. Neighbor girl I drive to school is in first. Favorite cousin's granddaughter is in 3rd. Whatcha need?
