Give yourself a chance, Dani.
Sit down with a list of the different embroidery stitches. Create your art. I used to draw it on tracing paper and pin it to the fabric. It is fun and relaxing.

I hand embrodiery each birth announcement for each baby in the family.
Also do wedding announcements in the bride's colors.
Sometimes free handed some times with Jack Dempsey's quilt blocks, sometimes with iron on transfers.
It relaxes me.

I love this idea. Our daughter is getting married May 2019. I should look for. Pattern and start NOW,

I've always got an embroidery project going. It helps with wait time when husband has dr appts and we have long drives. Love the announcement idea!

Both of those were birth announcements.
When I received name, weight,length then I hand letter that information on to announcement.
I put borders on them just like for quilt block, back them,put my label on the back along with washing instructions.
Place in picture frame and give as gift for Mother's Day and or Father's Day gifts.
