My favorite seasons are just around the corner and I have a ten man tent that I plan on living in a few days out of the month from October/November to February/March on my ten acres. I'm no stranger to being exposed to the elements, so I'd consider myself fairly weather hardy.
-As stated, I have a ten man tent that I would be calling home. Plan is to tie up a tarp above it with another one below it for water-proofing. I have two water sources, a branch that runs through the property and the river which is about a mile off-site with the capability of filtering collected water. I also plan on having at least three to four gallons at a minimum on hand in the tent.
-Trash that can be burned will be, the rest will be thrown in trash bags and put into my pickup to take off.
-I will have two first aid kits, one in my pickup and the other in the tent with me. I also have two tourniquets.
-I have plenty of snivel gear to keep me warm.
I'm mainly posting this to get input from other more experienced members to see what needs to be addressed. I haven't laid out my entire plan as that would take a while to type out, but some advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
