I'm going to pass on the dress and the tractor. I've saved the patterns and they are cute but I prefer just the animals with the barn and sunflowers. I have a chicken block that I made for a swap years ago and it's similar to the one EB gave us so I'm using mine in it's place. There's only three more months on this BOM and I'm still aiming for 20 blocks so I'll have to make a few extra. Maybe another sheep, a pieced weathervane block and whatever. lol My grandsons are in their early 20s now so in the next few years I expect they'll start getting married. I thought I'd save this for my first great grandson. I might make a little pig quilt in pinks for a great granddaughter.

Is everybody else caught up with their blocks?

I also wanted to show you this new BOM from Suzy's Sitcom. The patterns are free for the first month they're posted and then go into her shop. I might make a block or two of these to fill out my quilt. This month's block is radishes and they could easily be made into purple top turnips. I'll probably just make them with fusible applique and satin stitch on the machine. I won't put the labels on them, just the veggies.

That is really cute Katie! I have a cool garden veggie quilt pattern that I took out of a magazine years ago, planning to do it after I retired. It's in one of my quilt binders. I will have to get it out and look at it again. Thanks for reminding me! I WAS going to give the EB farm quilt to my grandson on his next birthday but am now going to keep it for myself. Out of all of the quilts I’ve made over the years I have never kept one for MYSELF!!!

I didn’t go into my sewing room yesterday as it’s been raining cats and dogs so my arthritis has been acting up. I may try to do some more work on the tractor today if I can round up some energy. . I am SO ready for summer, sunshine and WARMTH!!!

I think the last quilt I kept for myself was a purple sampler that I made in the mid-90s. I have a lot of cross stitch kits that I want to get made up in the next couple of years and I think I'm going to keep one of those for myself. Here's a picture of it. I love daisies. The rest of them will be for the kids and grandkids. I know what you mean about the arthritis. Last month I had a bad time with it but it's warming up here now - knocking on wood.

I also took pass on tractor will replace it with dog I think.
When I get to this quilt done it will stay at my place, but it will be a twin size for Estelle's next size bed.
One of these days she and Strawberry won't be able to cuddle on the toddler bed.
Working on several baby quilts at the moment, it's finally quit raining here for a couple of days.
Didn't like the nest on Mrs. Chicken, but cousin has a hen who nest in her flower bed.
So my chicken is sitting in whiskey barrel of flowers instead.

I didn't like that yellow nest with the chicken, either, Mo. It just looked wrong using that light color. I love the idea of the chicken sitting in the whiskey barrel!

That’s adorable. I just discovered this thread. I joined a quilt a long once. I did the whole thing and heard from the leader once with no picture sharing or anything. Ya’ll should show pictures of your blocks.
PS - I have waaaay too much fabric so I’ve been trying to make up the bulkier projects first. I think so far have made 8-10 blankets and quilts. I’m hoping to do a bazaar this fall so would like to get lots done. Also would like to decrease the stash (hoard).

I finished the tractor block and all of the little tire pieces were a pain in the behind! I’m 3/4 done with the sheep. Going to work outside tomorrow so hope to get in my sewing room to finish it Friday. I still need to embellish some of my blocks but will then try to take pictures with my tablet.

The tractor is nice, but I'm not using it either.
it's in my binder, but I think I'm going for a simpler time.
I think I will use hand plow instead, sort of mixing old and new times to make Estelle an adorable quilt.
Or a horse and plow instead of the tractor.
But this quilt stays at Granny's house. Also have to make 2 miniature quilts for her/mine doll beds that have her/ mine babies in them.
