My daughters favorite wild bird. She can't stand PreetyBird the crow though. He is hawking in the am when we talk on phone.

My goodness , I remember when they were born. How they grow so fast. I got baby pictures archived somewhere from the old forum.
They are absolutely gorgeous.

They are 9 and 4 already! I joined PS when Roo was 11 months old! How time really flies!
I thought you had her while on the forum.
I remember her as a baby.

That would have been Juju. Roo was born in 2011 and Juju was born 2016. I joined PS in 2012.

She's very alert.
A while back there was a super high tide after the remnants of a hurricane came through. The river is very tidal plus all the excess water from up stream. It also topped the bridges which are fortunately designed to handle that occasionally. No pictures of the bridges under water unfortunately because it was interesting ...but the buildings have names on them

They are not interested in getting to the top. They eat the stuff growing on the face of the cliff.
That is a concrete dam, not a cliff. They are licking the salts leaching from the dam.
