So. I walked into Dollar general a few minutes ago and low and behold. A 4 pack of the amber 1qt canning jars for $ 10. I guess I don't have to order a full case. Well. That part of the funeral planning is done.

Not to derail the thread but, an ultrasound health screening can give you a piece of mind. They have a couple of events in Albuquerque. It would be worth the $150 or so.
My best friend died at Christmas last year at the age of 47 from a heart attack.
This is a bit different. I used to get those comprehensive physicals every year. With this one they do an ultrasound of the vital arteries. He doesn't know it yet but he has a physical scheduled in 2 weeks. But not in ABQ. I hate driving in Abq, way to much traffic.

Personally, I appreciate any of the helpful remarks. I'll be taking notes and making decisions soon enough.
Sorry, dude, it is not so easily accomplished.I think I'm going to opt for the viking funeral. Take my cheap jon boat and put me in it, load it with kindling, set it on fire and shove me off! Once the fire burns out recover the metal boat and go fishing in my honor.
Funeral customs vary around the world. Some are just outright strange to us.
