Sonja you are only 10 years younger than me. I like some metal, but some of it not so much. Much like other music too. Well disco, disco sucked.

I guess my taste is just what I grew up listening too.

Elvis, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, then country western in the 70s.

BacP you came along about a decade after me, but I liked classic rock too along with the others.

Tommy Shaw of Styx. I saw them play the entire show. It was amazing. The kids and director had a blast. Tommy did as well

Skiffle, Rock and Roll, Jazz, Heavy Metal, Country & Western.
dont like modern music.

I thought I liked a large variety of music till I heard punk, heavy metal and rap music. Too much anger and violence ,like a train wreck inside the head.
I did find a couple rap songs to exercise to though.

I feel like that about disco and all this new crap that has 20 dancers to take your mind off the lip syncing

Disco didn't last long so guess your not the only one who didin't like it. My friend and I took Disco lessons at the local high school, but only got to go dancing one night a week if that. We had jobs and kids at home ,she picked right up on it,lol.
