My official opinion is that his breed is known as the "Red Spotted Yum-Yum Heat Up The Fryer" variety...Anyone know what breed this guy is?

Don’t know what the hens would look like. He just showed up here on the property.Yes, it's a cross between a Rhode Island red and those huge white chickens I'm so old I've forgotten the name of.maybe Domineker?
we had loads of them when I was a kid. the females run a gold to gold yellow. pretty docile breed and good layers too, good, thick
shells, very hardy and disease resistant.
Found it, the other half is called a Jersey Giant. so pretty much its a cross between a fryer and a layer.
Do the hens look like this?

I looked that up online and didn’t find any that looked colored like him but could be from the pic you posted. Interesting. Haven’t seen a rooster like him before. It is an Gallus from South East Asia.
I told my husband last night that it would figure. Wait 2 plus years and not find one. Finally find chicks after trying incubation and broody hen. Then fight off scrub jays and lost some chicks. THEN a nice handsome young man strolls in begging to stay. You said you needed a rooster so God sent you one.
Almost looks like an easter egger. Or an Americauna with some lavender on him.
