All leftovers are gone, but still have salad.

Tonight I had wings, a small salad and sweetcorn.
My version of chef salad, fruit, iced tea no sugar.

We have a house showing at 6 p.m., so when they are gone, I have leftover chicken, some steak, and a pasta sausage cheese casserole. Also cantaloupe. So, we'll just take that out and warm up whatever everyone wants. Not fond of evening showings. Screws up dinner hour.

It was Breakfast for dinner, Scrambled eggs with onions and cheese, and a little bacon 
Made and canned Cowboy Candy yesterday (candied jalapenos). Had a veggie sandwich with plenty of the jalapenos on it for dinner. Ice cream for dessert!
Wife cooked chicken in the crock pot all day, then shreded it and made enchinladas with it ( we call the Angeladas, take off on her name). Cream cheese, onions, tortillas, salsa, and shreeeded cheeze. Man they are good.
The little resturaunt down the road finally opened for "dine in" service this week. Sooo, I went and had the 12oz ribeye, onion rings, salad and a big glass of sweet tea! A little bit of normal life was really nice.

Ham, scalloped potatoes, peas, green salad, fruit plate. Made a cherry platz for dessert, and we'll have it with ice cream. Was going to make a cherry pie, but packed my pie pans already.

Too pooped to cook, had cranky, whiny, grubby grand daughter today.

Fired up the grill and cranked out some Kielbasa Foil Packs.
Kielbasa, Red Potatoes, Onion, Green Peppers, Broccoli, Baby Carrots, and Snap Peas.
So good! Already demolished 3 of them all by myself, lol.

Yum! We do this often only we add a big ground beef patty to the middle (but leave in the sausage) and replace the potato with zucchini. In fact it's on the menu for Wednesday this week.

I made what I call Daddy's Recipe
It was something he made when I was growing up and I've tried to make like his but it never comes out like it lol
But it is good what I do make.
It had ground beef, pork and beans and cooked macaroni and probably some other things which I'm not remembering as I was just a kid when he made it and didn't pay attention
I've added chopped onions and minced garlic and chopped tomatoes ( get a veggie in there ya know)

We have a Dutch oven from my wife's grandmother. We had never used it but decided stuff is not a skill. We made a pork roast with curry rice. It turned out great. I used charcoal but may just go with a backyard campfire next time.

Yep! That's my platz recipe, Weedy. I double it, make a big sheet pan of it, add 3 cans of cherry pie filling, and slices of cream cheese, too, under the topping. Cook for a little longer than what it says. Tastes better the second day for some reason, and good with vanilla ice cream, or just cream in a bowl.
