well @Pearl I've been in TX all this time and still haven't had chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken or eaten from what-a-burger, nope. No sirree!

I grilled some chicken drumsticks slathered up with BBQ sauce. Threw some corn-on-the-cob on the grill too. Added a basic garden salad as the second side dish. Very simple dinner. But very good too! This meal is one of my wife's favorites for me to make.

Found a New York Strip for a buck an ounce. So I cooked 'er up with criss-cross potatoes and split it with my daughter. It was absolutely fantastic!

Cheap frozen pizza with added Olives onions and cheese. Amazon hosed another order. Tomorrow I'll go to the store and do it myself.

Tonight was generic, store brand chili macaroni. I can't help myself, I love the stuff. I've been known to mix a box of Mac and cheese into a pot of chili too. It looks awful, but it's really good. It's also a good way to extend leftover food, by mixing leftover Mac and cheese with leftover chili...

Ate at my favorite cousins for dinner, and there were lots of us there tonight. Had goulash, fresh bread, salad, fruit salad. For dessert: whoopie pies, tollhouse bars, caramel icecream

This weekend we had fake meat cheeseburgers ( to all who make fun of them, I can't eat meat and I enjoy them) with crispy tots and onion rings.

Just finished eating a delicious homemade chicken burrito with hot peppers, onions, vine-ripened tomatoes and more in the mix. Shredded cheese on the nuked tortilla, heaps of mix dumped on the melted cheese, guac & sour cream on top with cilantro paste, Herdez Taqueria Cilantro & Lime Street Sauce and La Victoria Salsa Brava all drizzled atop the sour cream. Holy Moly, that first burrito was good! Gonna lie down and read a Western (that's code for taking a nap, lol), then I'm gonna mack another burrito tonight, since one will not be enough, lol. No beer drinking this afternoon or evening, my stomach is (happily) too full. Man, oh man, that burrito was tasty!!! Got a pot full o' leftovers too, so I'll be eating well for a few days... Cheers!!!
