Spent yesterday with my cuz, her hubs, and some of their friends. She lives outta state and don't get to see her to often. Them and a bunch of their friends had a low country boil for us all being around. Best food I've had in a while. Today just chillin out a bit. Got to take a long walk this morning. Nice and relaxing.

We took a friend and his wife out for his birthday and the kid passed out. Her blood pressure dropped and we laid her on the floor and put her feet up on my chair and resumed our conversation. The people around us freaked out, someone called an ambulance which, thankfully, was fueling up outside and not 90 miles away. The paramedics rushed in and after we talked to them they hung around for a bit to make sure she was ok. This happens so often that we are used to it. I forgot about the way other people react to her.

An hr later 2 of our neighbors called to check up on her because aparently, the whole county heard about it.

Sounds delightful!
@Terri9630 Poor kid. Big prayers for her. Glad she's okay and nothing more serious but still. . . . .

@Terri9630 sounds like you are far more relaxed about the whole situation with your daughter which is good :) . Just assume the appropriate recovery position and carry on.

I quite often sit in the middle of supermarket aisles/in fact anywhere when my blood pressure is low to save me falling over and hurting myself more. Most people look at me like I have the plague and others come to help it is a really mixed reaction and some recommend an ambulance to which I say no once I sit for a while and eat something I will be fine it is low blood pressure and been dealing with it for years.

We check her blood pressure and blood sugar to see which it is so we know what to do and carry on. Her puppy is starting to get good at alerting to which it is.

Could it be that the problem is that liberal state you live in? I would suggest moving fifty or a hundred miles west.
I hope she gets a handle on that pretty soon. It sounds horrible.

Its only liberal in the 3 big cities and the towns around them. I'm in a very conservative county directly to your east.

The Docs are trying. She started a med that is doing a pretty good job of keeping her resting heart rate down ish. It hasn't been over 158 in a month and hasn't hit 250 for about 7wks. She wants to get a job to help out but there's no way. She can't do it like this.

But it was Colorado Mexican food, not New Mexican Mexican food.

So they didn't ask "red or green"? Last time we were up there my husband said "Christmas" and really confused the waitress. It was June...

Nope. I don't think asking for Christmas is popular here. They did have slices of avocado on my plate instead of guac. Thought that was good. Actually, surprised husband didn't ask for a side of Christmas. Funny...he had some chicken with rice and "salsa" at the hospital cafeteria for lunch today. It wasn't salsa. It was weird. Chopped tomato, finely chopped cucumber (I think) and chunks of white cheese. Don't know why it was called salsa. They dumped it on his yellow rice.

Round 2 of today is DH washed the dishes and cleaned the benches and I wiped the dishes and put them away.

We then made some condensed milk and a lemon cheesecake, a double batch of chocolate chip and coconut biscuits and a double batch of chocolate brownies. I then watered the fruit trees and potted herbs and filled the kangaroo and wallabies with leftover rainwater from the collapsible water tank.

Tonight's dinner was sausage and egg sandwiches and dessert was lemon cheesecake.

Sounds like you are making good use of your new stove/oven. :)

Started drinking the redi-cat 2 moments ago. It's orange flavored with a hint of coconut, don't remember that part. My scan is at 11am. Since I have to stay in town afterwards I'll get lunch and then a haircut. I have to return items to Tsupply as well. It's times like this I wish the little town still had a hardware store, I could easily kill and hour in a hardware store. There is a farm and lumber store... I'll drop by and see whats going on there.

I have an appointment with my GP at 2:30. I have to get him caught back up and in loop on all that the specialists are doing, saying and planning.

Good luck with dr. apptPeanut. I have one today also with new nurse practicioner, She has good reviews. Not typing much this week, sight is no better. But I'm dealing with it good.Just can't read long sentences or drive, Can't wait till I can drive again.

Feeling sympathy for you Tank. A couple of years ago I was moving mom to Kansas. A Dodge City cop wrote me for 12 miles over. It was pricey. I hadn't had a ticket in years and years. Boy, mom didn't let me forget it. In my defense, the speed limit was 65 and changed to 55 when he got me.
Made it to Denver, unpacked the bags, ordering Chinese. Husband has the first doctor visit at 7:45 a.m. Dinner with Weedy tomorrow! Hi Weedy!
Hope all of your family feels better, Sentry.
Hope you feel better, Patchouli!
I am sorry I missed this until today, Amish! It was great to have dinner with you and your husband last evening.

Survived the CT this morning and the doc appointment this afternoon.... Exhausted now... supper is in the fridge, just going to rest this evening...:)

I know they have red and green. I asked for my burrito to be smothered in green.

This is the only red green I know! :D
