Went to senior sale at thrift shop this morning and then to pick up RX at docs, but she forgot so will go back Thursday. Topped off gas tank on way home and paid water bill. Came home and had salad for lunch. Getting ready to go help friend reorganize more this afternoon.

Cleaned house.
Did dishes.
Fixed lunch homemade version of pork fried rice.
Did more dishes.
Got Strawberry unstuck from the rose bush in the back for the upteenth dozen time.
She's snoozing beside me stretched out in the recliner.
Working on emptying grand daughter's yarn basket by crocheting her baby doll a blanket.
This wil be one of her Christmas presents from Granny.
It will be colorful to say the least.
Going to be dropping stuff off at dad's house after while.
Got to swing by Veteran's building this evening to pick up minutes from January meeting.
So I can get them ready for March meeting.
Cashing in change jar this afternoon, knocked over this morning watering flowers.
It got my attention when it landed on my left foot.

Spent most of the day at my sister's.
She's spending $80 a month for satellite TV.
Trouble shoot her WiFi. Router was toast.
Replace router with a WavLink WiFi Router ($30 and 4 star review).
Registered the Fire TV stick she bought several months ago to her WiFi
I figured out the Fire stick and then showed her the "how too".
Now she can cancel her TV satellite service.

Chicken chores.

I had plans to be productive today but felt sick to my stomach & exhausted again. My brother went to visit our friend without me because I need to be close to the bathroom. It's probably somewhat related to post-nasal drip & a bad sleep schedule. Wheels in my head are going on planning out plumbing & other stuff so I had trouble sleeping when I wanted to. Brain pulled that "can't sleep, have to think about DWV" when it was too dark to do measurements or anything. Tomorrow Mom has an appointment with the foot doctor- she gets her toenails trimmed and feet examined because she's diabetic. She got some fungus on her toenails that didn't want to go away entirely- I wash her feet, wipe them down with shea butter wipes, and put anti-fungal cream on her toenails at night, but the doctor said it would likely never clear up entirely. I found out from my uncle that shea butter is antifungal and it has helped get rid of some of the rashes she used to get. It also got rid of ringworm on cats.
I'm still going to have to make dinner tonight. Will have to see if my mother wants me to make her stroganoff again or if she wants something else. We need to grab stuff from Samsclub after her appointment since we're out of some stuff they only sell there.

Same old trampling of people's rights, enforcing the desires of the deep state, wasting taxpayer money, scheming to confiscate people guns, and other jack booted thuggery. I would have taken candy from children but I never came across any. Oh and I helped my Pastor buy a Troy free float m-lok hand guard for his AR-15. Going to assist him in installing it tomorrow night. Apparently he really takes that sell you cloak and buy a sword stuff seriously.

Just work, then worked on reorganizing the wife's GHB a little. Not done with that yet. Some stuff I had in it is missing, so gotta replace and extend some other stuff.

Nashville and points east along I-40 got slammed Early this morning Tornado spent time on the ground at points for over 300 miles. Last count I heard was 25 dead, but sure to be more as many houses are just gone and many folks still missing. Heard on the local news that FEMA is already on the ground and getting things moving, also a disaster area has already been declared. Prayers needed for the area. They are sure gonna need them.
Storm mostly stayed north of us, probly no closer than 30 miles. We just had rain and most of that was after daylight today.

Since telling the Internet company that I will be canceling my services, our internet has been so slow in the evenings. It's difficult to even "like" a post.
Have been working a ton and went all weekend too so am beginning to feel it. Will be needing some downtime by weekend.

Yesterday we went and visited another town for an appointment to visit a pain management specialist for DH. They think they can help him and have booked him in for an operation on March 20. They will be putting him under general anesthetic, putting in an epidural and injecting his fascia between his spine with cortisone and also burning the nerve endings that are causing the pain so the nerves don't transmit the pain to his brain. This will according to them give him 50% or more relief from his pain for 6 - 12 months or up to 8 years. It will have to be redone again after the nerves grow back though. We are getting this done through DVA so no out of pocket expenses for us and it will be done in a private hospital.

We stopped off on the way home to get a few snacks for our trip home and I picked up some more notepads we use for notes around the home and some more vegetable seeds for the gardens.

Got home and as we are getting rain forecast for the next week DH decided to mow the lawns again with the ride on as they had grown like wildfire and he had to do it twice to get it down low enough and put the grass clippings around the trees and shrubs. While he did that I stain removed all clothing that needed it and put on two loads of washing and hung it on the clothes line to dry and brought it back in. I then spread the grass clippings out to add mulch to all the gardens around the home and around the trees and shrubs.

Today it was a continuance of garden and yard work and DH sprayed around all the fence lines and buildings on the property to get rid of grass and sprayed the neighbours wooden fence posts for termites too. He deliberately sprayed over the boundary between our properties to get rid of the weeds growing as high as the fence in some places but told them that some over spray would go over the fence line boundary ;) . Lets just say that where the grass and weeds were growing as high as the fence we gave it a good 30 cm or more boundary between the fence and us with the weed spray. I moved all the garden gates and plants off the ground so DH could spray around the garden beds and put the gates back up once finished.

Lets just say the neighbours are not the least bit yard or home proud even though the couple would be about 20 years younger than us with 3 children. They both appear to be exceedingly lazy and the yard looks like a wrecking yard with rubbish and spare parts strewn everywhere. We did discuss having the fence professionally sprayed for termites but they told us they didn't have the money to contribute. Fortunately our weed spray also kills termites so now the fence posts will be termite free.

After a wash up and rest DH washed the dishes and cleaned the benches and I wiped them and put them away. I emptied both bins, gave the bath a good clean as it needed it and cleaned the metal blind above the stove and the window as well as it had some fat splattered on it from cooking. We also packaged in meal sized portions the lovely rump steak we purchased on special for $8.95 kg reduced from $17 kg. I then cleaned the benches, chopping board and knife with soapy water first and then peroxide and clean water to finish.

Now we are just relaxing a bit and will have a late lunch. Tonight's dinner will be rump steak and steam vegetables and dessert some ice cream.

May I ask what ISP you have? Sounds like what Hughesnet did to me when I posted a negative review of their service on dslreports. Although, certain times of the day are "peak hours" where more people are using the internet. More people using it can slow it down and/or your ISP may throttle users during peak hours to prevent anyone user from hogging the bandwidth. I forget the exact terminology they use for it, but it's annoying as hell. Mine gets slow during certain hours as well. That is part of the reason I'm on at 2am.

Dr's appt. today...............wish me luck!

I've been trying to figure out what I can get that doesn't involve a monthly payment. I should look into Fire TV. I thought there was a monthly fee. A friend told me he has an antenna in his attic that he paid less than $100 for and it draws channels from 200 miles away.

It's 0245 and I'm riding shotgun somewhere just West of Lincoln, Nebraska. We left Colorado yesterday at 1645 and I haven't been able to sleep a wink in the car. We should make it back home around 0630. Hope I can stay awake that long...
I cannot sleep in a moving car, unlike other people that I know.

Change jar update:
That change jar had $15.48 of pennies in it.
It now has German Marks, 50 cent of pennies in it.
I put that $15.48 to good use; got produce with it.
Still have some left.
Washed, dried and will put away 1 load of laundry.
Steamed mopped the bathroom floor.
Will put away 1 dish drainer of clean dishes.
Strawberry has been outside several times already this morning.
She has been untangled several times from the rose bush.
Will have to cook today, have no clue there.
Supper will be last of the pork chop, brown rice and some sort of fresh vegetable, maybe carrots.
Working on emptying grand daughter's yarn basket about 3/4 way done with that.
Her baby(doll) blanket is working up nicely.
Will walk this afternoon.

I think the guys are done inside the house. I have a shower. They went to lunch, and need to pick up all their gear inside, then take a front yard full of stuff to the dump.
Telling husband that no one will be here tomorrow except us. It's been a month. It'll be nicely quiet.
Came back from grocery shopping while son watched the house. One of the guys cut his finger fairly deep, so my first aid skills were put to use when I got home.

Still not feeling so well. Going to vote I reckon. Could have voted early, but no.

@phideaux thumbs up on your firewood. Had no idea there were severe storms ripping through Tennessee and wherever else last night. It's that time of year.

Patch hope youer better soon.

I'm not feeling too good either so not coming around much so I don't spread the negative feelings I am trying to fight.

BackP hope your doing better.
