Well that's BS. I would suspect your Dr. can just handle this over the phone however. I know ours does.

He probably would but I suspect that since a new med he's going to want her to come in and see how she's doing on it. She has a follow up apt on the 27th already. Depending on how long this takes she may be out of them since they won't refill until right before its out.

Yeah, it's 'sick' (pardon the pun).
They know if the pharmacy calls to renew it that she's doing fine on it.
Had the same thing happen to me last month.
If they won't return the call from the pharmacy, Super makes an appointment to help them fix a problem that THEY caused and they make another $200.
I refuse to reward bad behavior and 'stuck to my guns' (TF pun).

I told the pharmacy to let them know I would just 'do-without' the meds:eek:.
And I waited.
It's a racket, and it's all about the money.
2-weeks later, the prescriptions were fixed:).
Edit: Oh, both of the prescriptions were for stuff I have been taking for yearsgaah.

There was no reason for the pharmacy to contact the Dr. It was just a normal refill. If it was out of refills I would have called the Dr's office for it myself.

Yeah, but for some strange reason it is 'Foxtrot-Uniform', isn't it?
It's not a mistake.
Someone did something.
...And they did it to milk more money from the system/you.
go crazy.gif

Most definitely! I like this Doc, he's no nonsense and I have a feeling he's gonna be #$%%^& when he hears this tomorrow. All the pharmacy did was loose a customer when the other pharmacist explains his actions. Unless there's a potential danger to the kid reason we won't be back. If there is a danger then why did he fill it the first time?!?!

Just be prepared that the Dr may have no knowledge of it.
It is likely just one of his minions that was following SOP from administrators to make sure she is a "frequent visitor".

She's already a frequent visitor. Every 3 weeks.

Been working on Strawberry's manners when we are outside.
Somebody was probably right when they said Patience was a virtue.
But I am rapidly running out of patience due to extreme barking.
Today we were outside, practicing her sitting on command.
Might have better luck with grand daughter on that one.
She finally sat down, was waiting patiently for next command.
When she saw squirrel peeking around the tree trunk at her..
She never moved till I gave the command.
Then she chased it back up the tree, barking.
Didn't realize I had several spectators watching till they laughed.
One said she had good form, left paw up, back straight, tail sticking out.
They said she went on point like a pro.
The other gentleman wanted to know if I had ever had her in field.
This is the same dog that is scared of thunder and lightening.
Just trying to reinforce what she is supposed to know.
Don't know if I should be proud of her for having good form.
Or disappointed for the dang barking.

Went up the mountain and took care of the lawn etc. The fruit is all on. Picked a bunch of plums, some pears, a few apples, and a bag full of choke cherries. Next weekend, I will get some elderberries. They are thick this year. Rose hips are still a couple weeks out.

Started off the day with DH cutting some firewood from the back boundary fallen ironbark branches on our property and turns out there is about 10 branches so it will provide a lot of firewood. He still has more to do but will do a bit each morning as it is getting hot here. While DH was doing that I painted two coats of paint in the section where the new stove will go including the walls, one side of the cabinet and the two pieces of ply board that levels the floor as the vinyl has boarding underneath with vinyl on top and the cabinet we removed was laying on the floorboards.

I then dated all the dry bags of cat food that were delivered and put them in the food storage room while DH drilled holes in the cacti on the back boundary and pourer poison in them. Just finished putting the ply board and kitchen stainless steel cabinet back in place. Earlier this afternoon we had another electrician come and give us a quote to have the stove and three lights replaced.

Dinner tonight was fish fingers, chips and spring rolls for something a little easier.

I have animals to feed, some cleaning out of things to do. A few errands to run, which I'll need to do really early this morning. POTUS is coming today and it will be a bad traffic mess later. They decided to shut down the schools and the govt offices. Hopefully it will remain calm around here. This state doesn't like him at all.

Abq area, Santa Fe and Las Cruces don't like him. The rest of the state is red. I hope they behave but I won't hold my breath.

Called the Docs office. They called the pharmacy and they were told that because the prescription had been transferred from a border town the pharmacist didn't trust it and wouldn't fill it. Doc called it in to a different pharmacy for us.

Remind them who is 'in-charge'.
The previous pharmacy just cut their own throat. They failed in their service to you.
Drugs are a very profitable business.
Many companies are waiting in the wings, anxious for your business.
Move all of your prescriptions to the new pharmacy and tell the old one to 'just suck-it'.
The consumer has the ultimate power in our country, don't forget that.

All ready done!

Some clown hit my parked car with a tractor trailer at work today. Judging by the skid mark from my right rear tire he pushed my car 6-8 feet. The only damage I've found so far is a cracked tail light cover, a couple scratches and one sprung trunk hinge. The guy tried to leave the scene as he hit another parked car and ripped most of the front end off of it but a co worker was there and blocked him in. Not only does this guy get to deal with the sheriff's department but my employer's own private police department (which has full law enforcement power) is on him too. This should be interesting before it's all said and done...
