I would get some but its all GMO crap, they spray round up regularly.
Saw 3 fields i hadn't been paying attention to had been sprayed, probably over the weekend. Getting ready to plant corn.
They were spraying not too far from us as I was driving home this evening. 🤢

USDA World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates
This is the April report. The May report should be out in a few days.
These are estimates, and figures can and will adjust due to weather events, changes in the Ukraine situation, etc.

And they screamed like violated chimps abut Trump tripping over a dime...

Wonder what would happen if we all suddenly "caught the covid" and stayed home a month?
ALL of us?

East coast is very low according to all i've read. Not sure how widespread it is, but I'm guessing from Maryland up thru Maine, maybe east to PA??? I've saw reports their prices are over a dollar a gallon higher than everywhere else and some stations are already out. Next couple of weeks are gonna be real sketchy.

I have one 5 gallon can that I've used up, think I'll go to CoOp tomorrow and fill it up. Might as well be topped off.

From what I can tell there fuel is all, or mostly, by truck. Southeast is mainly pipeline. I'd like to see how widespread this is.
The Bayway refinery in Linden NJ gets it by ship (Port Newark and Port Elizabeth) and by train. There are a few towns along the railway route that have been trying to stop the oil trains because of idling at some sidings. They are also required to pass through those areas at a slow rate of speed.

The Bayway Refinery is what gives the NJ Turnpike its distinctive "scent."

Sounds like a california answer to their issue.

Average price for gas is 3.65 a gallon here, Diesel is nearing 5.00 a gallon however.
How well does bread freeze?
Bread freezes well. I put it in a second plastic bag - make sure air is out but without smashing your bread.
Also, I think it was 357 you were after. I looked the other day - nope, nada, not ready made or reloading supplies.

Yesterday, on my way to work, the little gas station near our shop was $4.80/gal for gas and $5.20 for diesel. After lunch up 10 cents more $4.90/$5.30 !

I see that they changed the format for the MAY report. I have seen this done before because they don't want you to easily compare the two reports. I like how they say that the decline in production will be made up by exports from Russia... Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I would ask, what exports from Russia? Afterall they are under boycott

Grocery carts! Only three were left that hadn't been stolen by homeless. I drove a few miles to find a store that had grocery carts and I could use one.
Around here, they will stop you if they see them pushing a stolen cart, dump their stuff out on the ground and confiscate the cart, if the bridge monkey mouths off, THEN they can arrest him. LOL

Just filled up after work. I didn't study the gas prices but diesel across from work was $5.35, I think regular unleaded was about $4.80. Drove to the outskirts to the Piute reservation owned gas station and paid $5.09 for diesel. I don't know what Costco is selling it for here but it usually isn't much less than the reservation and Costco is about 10+ miles out of my way. I do have to drive about 8 miles from work to the reservation but then taking the back way home it is about 5 miles shorter that coming my normal way hoe from work so it isn't much of an inconvenience and there is very little traffic. I just have to watch for the cows but they were all sleeping off the side of the road.

I asked my GF to buy a ham at Costco if the price was decent. Nope, over $40 for a ham. Guess I wont be enjoying snacking on ham any time soon. I am over 4 months on my Keto diet so most days I am only hungry for 1 meal, maybe one and a half. That is the other benefit of avoiding sugar and carbs, your body doesn't crave food several times a day. The chickens, ducks, and turkeys give us plenty of eggs so we wont starve as long as we can keep them fed.
