25 degrees this morning. The birdbath was frozen solid. Will it ever be summer? It makes me want to double check that I do indeed live in Arizona.

It's nearly perfect shooting weather so I spent 4 hours at the range practicing for 22 silhouette.

I dumped .22" yesterday morning and temps to mid 80s. Today it touched 90. Some breeze most all day. Then within last hour clouded up and started pouring down. Lasted 20 minutes. Also has some peas size hail when it first started. Cold rain to and hard enough to soak me before I got to the house... we got .37" in that 20 minutes. Sun popped back out. Gonna be sticky humid now.

the rain storm has moved in.cities north n east of me has it sever.the power has gone out twice rather briefly. I'm all set up if it should go out for a while.
Odd thing... no rain in 6 days since I emptied my rain gauge. Today I noticed 3/10ths of inch in the gauge. A couple of times this week I noticed a lot of condensation on the gauge.
@Bacpacker Has your gauge ever done this in warm months?

I do at times. Normally when we have very heavy dew. I don't recall seeing 3/10" at one time though. 1/10 is not uncommon.
@Bacpacker I think unusual circumstances is the reason for the water. Last week I got 4 inches of rain, the ground is saturated with water. My gauge is on a pressure treated 2x4 stand and sits about 6 inches off the ground. I had the 4 hottest days of the year this week. When I say condensation... I mean so thick I couldn't even see the inside tube. Although it was hot and the relative humidity was low the moisture coming out of the saturated ground was massive. It was actually .27 inches in the tube, I rounded up.

Its hot and humid here for the next 2 days. nasty out. then its supposed to cool down to the 70's and then go back up again near the end of the week. only chances of rain during the coming week

Snow predicted overnight. Some places in the area are predicted to get up to 15 inches possibly. I have had the feeling that we weren't past getting snow. I'll be covering tomatoes with 5 gallon buckets later today.
38 degrees and snowing. Supposed to snow all afternoon. So happy I live in hot Arizona!
Have done nothing with the garden because it is too cold. Last year we had everything planted by now with many things up and growing.

39 degrees was the high today. Had enough snow to turn the ground white. Also had 1/10" of rain.
Cooler and windy. We had a couple weeks of really nice weather. Sunshine and temps in the low 80s.
Later this week we are suppose to return to the 80s.
The cooler temps made it better for working in the garden, but my tomatoes like the 80°

Low this morning was 24 degrees. This might become known as the year without summer.

Last night, we got hail, twice. It woke me up both times, 1:30 and 4:20. The first hail lasted about 10 minutes and wasn't as bad as the second storm. The second storm also lasted about 10 minutes, but was much more intense. There is still hail on my property, like a snow bank. Trees still have leaves on them, but less of them. The streets and sidewalks were green.

We do too. We now have 53 wild fires going on and lots are close to us and we live in a jungle with growth of past 75 years. I am getting together a BOB today just in case.
Had a little rain but mostly lightening which didn't help the fire situation. Although some around Jax. got lots of rain.
Those conditions look bad. My cusion lives just north of Jacksonville. Said it was very smoky around her place. Hopefully you'll get rain soon, and plenty of it.

Thanks BacP it sure would be nice to have some good heavy rain. It is so hot outside now too we in a heat wave like most of the south now.
Hope your cousin doesn't have to breath that smoke for long, it is really bad to do.
It was almost cold this morning. I had to turn on the heater on the bus this morning. We've never made it to the last month of school without 100°+ temps. Its only 77° right now. Only supposed to be up to 82° tomorrow. There are usually pool parties the last week but not this year.

Weather is crazy this year. Our pear trees bloomed twice then came a 25 F freeze.
Had two tornados touch down last about 25 miles away from me.
Air is heavy again today.
Have another thunderstorm coming in as we speak.
We are waterlogged in my neck of the woods.
Flash flooding, regular flooding, thunderstorms, tornados all been happening this week.
Got a couple of farmers friends thinking about trying to grow rice.
Not having much luck this year with wheat, corn or barley.
Might as well use all this water for something like rice.
Air is heavy again today.

Yippee! It didn't freeze last night! Only got down to 34*
Raining here this evening. Over an inch since 6pm. The weatherman says we will get 3-5 inches over the weekend.
We need the rain badly, the garden had about dried up. Dad began hauling tanks of water in about a week ago.
