    Concern about missing members

I have had issues with kidney stones the past two weeks and with bumping around in a school bus on rough logging roads during spring break up, it's best I keep my new found crankiness to myself so I am just lurking for awhile.

You probably blacked out in the bathroom off loading all the coffee your drinking.;)

Self reliant get together and lunch in central montana

I could maybe swing visiting Tirediron. The gas would kill me though. I would like a last trip to Montana but it is not going to happen. I was born, and spent my first 3 yrs in Scobey. My uncle moved to Helena when he sold the farm. He passed along time ago

    I got 56.7%...

We are almost double your prices on most things. You ain't seen nothing yet. Yesterday at the store I spent $36 for 1 gal milk 1 lb butter 1 onion 120 gm cheese

If you won a million dollars, what would you do?

In Canada, the lottery is the tax. You don't pay taxes on what you win. The lorries don't get nearly as big either.

    What's everybody doing today?

I filled a bunch of gas cans for my road trip to avoid the turd tax increase as well. I keep the tank full and enough cans to get home, in the truck. At least I don't have to worry about traffic even though there is only one road.

    LOST My "MAN CARD" Today.

Any bag with a sling that technically hangs around your neck is a bad idea. The motorcycle snatch and grab is bad news. Fanny packs, pockets, wallets, any of the standard stuff, are not suitable for anything of value. Pretty much need to gorilla tape anything important to your chest where you...

Rant for the Day (keep it clean)

More bus company drama. I was asked to start my original route assignment on Monday. No problem. Then comes, can you shuttle a bus on Monday? Sure, who do I meet and where/what time and do I start the run on Tuesday now that I am shuttling? Meet Eddie at 12 pm at the yard. No mention of the...

    Whassup Homies!

I have a sneaking suspicion that this was deliberate satire to make a point.

All good deeds go unpunished. Well, most of them do anyways...

I have seen that happen before. It's supposedly about liability. If you drive into a pot hole the city hasn't fixed, it's almost an act of God. If you drive into a privately filled pot hole, both the pot hole filler and the city is liable because they allowed unauthorized repairs. It doesn't...

If you won a million dollars, what would you do?

Send hubby to the bone knackers to get his joints replaced and then to the tooth knackers to get them pulled and get implants. I might head back into the bush after that's taken care of.

Traveling to Alaska with a firearm....or not.

Everything is a little town or station. We sure live in different worlds. I have never experienced the one you did.

    I Remember When . . .

Funny you should mention phone booths. I was subbing a school bus run for two days last week. 15 minutes past the narrow washed out road with the one way bridge, I turned right onto another back road. A telephone booth at the edge of the trees along the road, marked the turn. There is no way it...

Traveling to Alaska with a firearm....or not.

I don't get the tourist thing. No one cares if you are a tourist and the prices are only higher if someone pretends they can't handle the exchange rate. For that reason, getting Canuck cash is helpful. Visa charges extra for foreign currency exchange when you use the card. Prices are rounded up...

What Are You Having For Dinner

Hubby had dental issues today and needed soft food. We were forced to eat smoked salmon.

    I Remember When . . .

I grew up in a cabbage patch. I never saw or experienced a single one of all those things. I still don't know what some of them are. I remember getting the crank telephone when I was around 16. I also remember having to peel the logging truck load of trees that my dad had to donate and install...

Traveling to Alaska with a firearm....or not.

A long time but they have some new ones in the pipeline that are even more ridiculous. The TURD in chief gets his marching orders from WEF.
