I had this car when I was younger.

I never had these when I was a kid. I cold occasionally see them at a friends or at the doctors office. If I had a subscription today I would relax and enjoy the simplicity and the relaxing entertainment.
Unless they are now "woke" and political.

Monte Carlos were great cars. The first car I ever drove was a 1982 Monte...almost an avocado green.

1968. Mine had the 440 magnum engine, posi rearend. The RT models all were either 440s or hemis. I think the blue on mine was a little darker than the picture and mine had a black vinyl top. I liked the car but with the way I drove it my gas mileage was often about 5 mpg.

I take that 5 mpg to mean you had fun driving it. My dream car is a 69 Dodge Charger R/T but I love all real muscle cars.

While we never subscribed to ice during my youth we did get milk delivered to a designated cooler at the back door.

I've actually saw that car before. Think it may have been in a museum somewhere. They were popular for leaf peppers back in the day

This was a Smokey Mtn tour bus based in Ashville NC (door). Probably in a museum in your area.

My grandfather worked for the coal mines.

Kids would sit over the conveyors picking out rocks from the coal.
