My main concern would be your blood clot too. That is pretty major!!
That is awesome! How did you can grits? Assuming pressure canned?6 pints of grits. 1 didn't seal and it is great. Heat (or not) and eat. I thinned it with chicken broth after cooking, for canning purposes. Pressure canned 30 minutes.
