Got 6 pints of spaghetti sauce in water bath canner.
Got the makings for another 6 pints of spaghetti sauce going in the crockpot.
Plan on making Salsa tomorrow.
Especially now that I finally found some Jalenpinos..
Hopefully I can find my favorite corn nugget recipe so I can get those in freezer.
Want to make up 9 quarts of vegetable soup.
Get that water bath canned in pint jars for the pantry.
Maybe if I'm not to tired tomorrow pickled Sliced mushrooms will fairly easy to get done up too.
Pickled Asparagus too.
I see the surgeon on Wednesday.
Trying get much as I can planned and prepared as possible.

It's all good Dani,
I got six years out of that first knee I had replaced.
Otherwise I could have been in a wheelchair.
I knew there was a chance it wouldn't make the 7 years they said it would.
You got to remember I do 5 k's still Army style.
I am a very active old Army Broad.
I keep on, keep on.
I'm more worried about the blood clot that showed up in my right leg.
Not my left one at all.

I am so very glad that you have been able to live your life even with the knee trouble you have been experiencing. Since you brought up the blood clot, I have to ask. . . You probably already know the question?

My main concern would be your blood clot too. That is pretty major!!

I see my Primary Care Doctor again Wednesday of this week.
I saw him last Thursday too.
He is very close watch on my blood clot.

Last weekend canned 16 more pints green beans. NO more room. Need to mow down as I am done. Picked a bucket of pinto beans and shelled off 2 half rows Sunday. Stuck in freezer. 4 day weekend so plan to pick other 3 rows and can. Got a Text tonight for pickup on 2 bushels pinto beans I ordered for tomorrow evening.

I don't can here, don't know anyone who does- just doesn't seem to be a thing. Started freezing though- mainly fruit so far, and making jam.
Why don't people can over there? Is the cost of jars prohibitive or the availabilty of the equipment?

16 pints of green beans--one did not seal
9 pints of sweet pickle relish--one did not seal
14 one cup bags of fresh peas for the freezer. Don’t care much for them canned.

Later I’ll start fermenting a gallon size jar of pickles. Tomorrow will be sauerkraut.

8 pints of corn 🌽
8 1/2 pint jars of blackberries
5 qts pickles (hubby)

Wanted to share as I’ve done this with blueberries 🫐 before and they turned out great so tried with blackberries and it wirs. Put the berries in the canning jar and hot water process 20 minutes for 1/2 pints, 25 for pints- I’ve not done quarts but would say 30-35 min. Easy peasy, no syrup or anything. The berries are tender kinda like cooked so not like fresh. Hubby likes them over his icecream.
