I'm currently sitting on what use to be my couch in what use to be a nice lounge room. I Use to have a laptop and a nice handbag. Nice sneakers and nice uggs. So you might be asking yourself what the heck happened.
Landshark busted the door on a heavy duty crate and went Ham.
I'm still finding piles of poop and puddles and I guess destroying my house and everything I own had a negative effect on her digestion because she threw up the pile of shoes she accumulated on the destroyed couch.
While I'm not going to I can actually see why people keep these dogs chained up out side or in a run.
If it’s any consolation, once your pupper matures, and has earned her salt, you’ll wonder how you can ever live without her.
rough way (or ‘ruff!! way) to say I love you and missed you, but this too shall pass.

What kind of dig? How old? Spayed or neutered? It sounds like a case of separation anxiety.

So sorry to hear that Tank @Tank-Girl You work so hard to come home to that much have been a shock.
@Neb So today Hubby asked if I could organize the fasteners at work and get them in a rolling tool box. Long bolts in top, then screws in the next, then small bolts and washers, then nuts and a few larger quantity items, then bulk in the bottom drawer - all in clear containers so you can see what you are looking for. If it gets messed up, I'm not doing it again. I get tired of cleaning up other people's messes.
I went in search of some dry-bags for our sleeping bags today (got them all washed and dried) and happened to notice the Lodge cast iron. Wow, it has sure gone down hill. Just has a mill finish. Unless you have a good sander, you wouldn't want to use the ones I saw. Oh, they didn't have any dry-bags.

A little bit at a time.

PS ~
Welcome home @Amish Heart
And @INresponse Can I ask what state you are in that you got rain? We "only" got to 93 today which is the coolest day in a month and no rain.
Utah. Southern Utah, north of St George but at about 5300' elevation. St George got hit hard yesterday too. Tonight I can home to more rain, mostly a decent sprinkle with occasional heavy rain. I think yesterday we got less than half an inch or so, aside from what came out of the gutters we had no run off and only the surface of the dirt was wet. I could only jab a screwdriver into the dirt about a half inch. I am hoping tonight's rain lasts a little longer, even if it is slow and steady.

I'm home from Tennessee.
I now have my personal belongings.
It went as well as can be expected.
At least no one got shot(and I am an expert shot), no warning shots were fired.
One person did end up in "Pokey"(jail).
Did my heart good to slap cuffs on that l****, Coke(not drink)B******.
She facing 15 years to life.
And you can bet your sweet A** I will be at every probation hearing.
But hey I'm not bitter, just relieved it's all over finally.
On good note........
We found Dad an apartment.
Movers come this Monday.
Dad's house sold in less than 5 days-no signs in the yard.
Realtor and Zillow.com
New owners will be moving in on Friday.
Sipping coffee, reading forums, relaxing.

I'm glad it went OK :).

Today, I am just playing catch up. I ran the grocery chores this morning and then started working on my watering system. I now have 5 of the raised beds connected to the rain barrels. It is taking much longer than planned because I am trying to reuse old supplies that I stopped using 4 years ago when I had pump failures and was gifted a few extra barrels that I wanted to incorporate into my system. The outside temp is 94F with a 50% relative humidity, it feels hot to this old guy.

I took it slow and easy due to the heat.

The outlet for the refrigerator installed after I found what i needed. I knocked off early just because I had enough fun.

Tomorrow I will be helping my son figure out what is up with may be one of the circuits in his place. The good news is there was no fire. We will have to see what we find.

Ben

Drywalled a closet today. I use the cut off scraps in the closets, nothing smaller than about 2 feet but usually closer to 3 feet sizes, and the inside is an odd shape due to an area where an A/C duct needed to run so there were plenty of pieces needed. It looks good, just time consuming. I need to install the door before I can finish it so that will be tomorrows first chore. Break time now before work.

worked earlier...
trying to get assignments completed but taking a break from it.
@Neb your humidity up there is a little high! 80%. That's what I didn't like about the mid-Atlantic states (and PA). Right now my area humidity is 51% and it feels awful. Is there any place with lovely summers? That's where I want to be. Relatives in Montana are plagued this summer by very high temps during the day, cool down at night (50s) and lots of smoke from the fires.
@MoBookworm1957 so glad you finally were able to get your stuff back. A lot taken care of for the better in your world in a short amount of time. Hope you can breathe easy for a minute.

Our humidity was super high today, too, but have four dehumidifiers going. The collect a good 6 gallons of water a day (inside) on a humid day. Good water to flush toilets with if I had to.
Did morning animal and garden stuff. Moved junior chickens in cages to big chicken coops. They can look at each other for a few weeks before I let them out. Went into the big town and grandson got his driver training permit. Then on to the bank for a customer appreciation hotdog lunch. Met my favorite cousin there and all her family. Her son is the VP there. Took husband to rehab pt and went to Aldi shopping. Filled up the cart, Back home, doing laundry, husband is grilling burgers.
Glad uou got your stuff, Mo, and made it back home with stuff and sanity.

That water from the dehumidifying...

It is distilled water.

I've been using the water from my dehumidifer to water plants anyway since I get charged for all water and waste leaving my home.
A few years ago we had problems with a leak, so hubs got out there and turned the water off while he fixed the problem. A couple weeks later we got an unannounced no contact visit from the water dept. putting in a new access -- for them. We could no longer access turning it off. Of course not because then that would mean we could turn it on if they turned it off. ha. haha.
Funny they didn't do that to all the properties.
