A varient of Naegleria fowleri seems to be wide spread and getting worse. Just watch the news on television and other sources of what is going on in the world. In case you don't know what Naegleria fowleri is, it is an amoeba that eats the brain. I know that this sounds stupid but what other reasons can you think of that explains how crazy things seem to be getting.

That's horrible, haven't there only been 4 survivors of it ever?

I don't know, but that post was intended as a joke. Something that causes brain damage must be the cause for all the crazy going on and an airborne amoeba makes perfect sense. I know an amoeba isn't the reason but a neighbor and I were talking about all the stupid and crazy going on and it sorta fits. Maybe there is a virus that hasn't been detected that causes stupid behavior. There really are a lot of reasons for the way things are going but sometimes the only escape is making jokes or funny stories.

When my son asks, "How are you doing?" I answer, "30 years old and in perfect health." Then he mutters something about alzheimers.

Hey!
Don't you know better than to call a man with a gun crazy? ;)
It helps keep my mind off my back pain to say 30 years old and in perfect health. Just like the aspirin helps as a placebo.
I am quite lucid still at this point. When I start to lose my grip my eyes just water more.

Saw this at WM yesterday... I'm always astonished when someone loses a front hub. Are they hearing impaired? Have no feeling in their arms? How does a hub fail without the driver knowing something serious was wrong days before it happened?

I've had two hubs fail when driving, on a tractor and a truck. In both cases my only surprise was that it took so long!

It's not like this is an Indy car crashing at 230mph when a hub failed. Its a pickup cutting across the parking lot.

Oh, the white building in the far distance. They call it the multiplex, its also where the farmers market is located. I've sold tons of peaches at that place.

I do lots of dreaming when I read the posts in here. I envy you all, who have front porches. I envy you all that have actual wood burning stoves and fireplaces. Bottom line is I envy many of you in this family forum.

Come on over and you can help build the porch so you can sit on it with us.
