And you cando all three of those. And it looks like your well on your way.
Thank you Meerkat,
It's been a battle.
But so far in the last 10 years I have lost a total of 256 pounds.
And have kept it off in the last 10 years.
196 inches all over.
And 3 shoe sizes until this summer.
Because of feet swelling back up to size 6 ladies.
Normally wear kids size 4.
Now that I don't take a bunch of medicine the weight comes off more easily.
Blood pressure was 297/197.
Now blood pressure is 97/ 58.
Also eat very little processed food, make pretty much everything from scratch.
So I know what's in it.

I stand on one leg with arms out then slowly stretch out the leg in font of me and hold,

My seizure medicine from head injury made my weight balloon dangerously high.
I could have passed for the "Goodyear Blimp".
I wore size 26 top and pants.
We called them circus tent tops.
Now some of my clothes are size 8(tops).
Then the rest are size 12 depending on the cut of fabric and pattern style.
My pants are size 10, or 12-14.
Lost 2 maybe 3 whole people when I quit taking seizure medicine.
Now I'm within 39 pounds of my goal weight of 135 pounds.
Weight is coming off nice and slow.

I was on work travel at a very austere location.

So could not exercise and my work was all non physical.

Did a gym session last week but couldn't really do squats since my legs felt like rubber.
Fixing that.. did a very solid heavy hill ruck march last nite and today I am either running or rucking again

Nice to see you back :thumbs:Bluez.

thank you..
..did did another fast ruckmarch through the hills here, 60lbs.
Today recovery day for legs.

My hotel for this week has a tiny fitness room. Treadmill, elliptical, and a relatively worthless weight stack machine, that doesn't have enough height adjustment (I'm just under 6 feet tall but the angles are all wrong on this machine). I did 3 sets each of bicep curls, rows, and lat pulldowns, but the rows were the only ones that felt right...

Today I ran.. So that brings me up to my 3rd cardio for the week.
All I need is one more exercise for the week and i will be good :)

I was in no mood for it today... but went on a run.. to get my 4th workout for the week..

Managed to squeeze in a run this morning.

I was hesitant to run because I just did yesterday , + prefer to leave a days gap between runs since I am a bit heavy these days and i consider myself in a "getting-back-into-it" phase due to recent work travel.

But the opportunity to start the week off right could not be missed.

Ok, so I slacked off really bad. I only did two workouts since last Monday - one for shoulder, one for lats, and they weren't very good workouts anyway. But I got back to the gym today.

Military press x4
Shrugs x3
Floor press x4
Lateral delt raise x3
Posterior delt flyes x3
Skullcrushers x2
Tricep pushdown x2
Farmer's carry x3 (new PR)

Tonight I did not have the energy for a run.
Did a ruck march instead.
Took me about 54 minutes w/ a 55-60 lb pack.

Strawberry and I have walked several times today.
15 minutes intervals each time we walked x 4.
Up small inclines, down small inclines, gravel, pavement.
Been concentrating on legs because knees are stiff for some reason.
Bruised left heel pretty bad one day last week.
Trying not to walk on tip toes if I can help it.
So far today we have walked right at 2.5 miles.
Trying to build stamina before 5k comes up in October.

Anybody have any clue why my feet are swelling still?
Or why my knees are so stiff?
Some days, I think about using walker to just walk across the room.
Then I think "NAH" and just push through the stiffness, swelling and pain.

No Movvok but maybe someone who does will post.Hope you get it taken care of, you've done so good .

Swelling in the ankles can be a symptom of bad juju. You aren't eating a lot of salt so maybe add some potassium?
The soldier in you is showing... "push through the pain". I do the same thing but I'm told that sometimes it is no good to do so. I'm in no position to lecture though... I haven't renewed my pain meds and I am doing... fine?

How's your blood pressure doing, Mo?
Compared to several years ago when it was 297/197 it is excellent.
It runs about 97/78 now, why?
I cut a 20 mg blood pressure pill in half per primary care Doctor's advice.
I eat very little salt, only time I eat a lot of salt is when my Iron count drops below 6.
I eat lots of fresh fruits, vegetables.
Meat is grilled, baked, stir fried.
I drink water, rather have coffee or tea though.
Have have lost a lot of weight and inches all over.

I have an allergy to ingredient in most pain medicine, hence why I don't take it.

I'm just asking because the swelling (edema) can be related to high blood pressure. But you don't have high blood pressure, so, probably not the issue.

I sometimes get swelling in my hands and wrists if exercising or working hard in hot weather. It goes away pretty quick once I get cooled down though. It's called Exercise Induced Edema. Maybe that's what's happening to you...
