Mid 50's today. Had .42" of rain at 6 this morning. Close to 2" since then. Rains are about past us now. Lots of flooding going on. One small town north of us has a huge sinkhole and the runoff has polluted the local water supply and they are having to ship in around a half million gallons a day.

Today is the day to go anywhere which is why I'm heading to the dollar tree store for gardening supplies ( lol)
Snow isn't a problem but ice is a PIA. We have pine tree limbs down that are thicker than my arm . And the last ice storm power was out in the lower half of the Valley

Rain Rain and more rain. We've had 2+ " since Friday. Expect 3-5 more by Thursday. There will most likely be some flooding from this round. Ground is saturated. Most of the dams around here are spilling water trying to keep the levels down for the storage of all this water. Snow falling up in the mountains.

In northern New England the Interstate is shared by people who understand driving in snow, and people who don't. The people who understand driving in snow mostly also understand that the ignorant drivers rule the day; they will do down and take the knowledgeable with them. My solution: If snow starts accumulating on the Interstate, I get off it. Them thar folks ain't taking me down with them.

We're having a heat wave for the next 3 days.

my area is scheduled to start snowing Friday night 1-3 inches, easing up Saturday a tad and then between Sat night -Tuesday 2- 3 feet expected. travel expected to be extreamly difficult to impossible ..Yea!
