It really is and I thought about using this pattern for my connector blocks and I might still go with it. There are just so many choices!
Wow, Greeneyes! That is just gorgeous! I can't wait to see your finished quilt top and that peacock border is perfect. Two yards will be enough for your border, you'll just have to see if you have enough for the width you want. I have four fabrics and the ecru background for my burgundy/gold set. It just depends on the pattern which ones I use. They all get used, just not always in the same block. It's great that you're able to plan ahead and have something to occupy you while you're recovering from your surgery. Be sure to check in when you're up to it and let us know how you are.
Could you add some extra borders with your own fabric to make it larger???
Greeneyes so glad the surgery is over.,, Rats that is hurts more.. but hope you recover quickly and get to sewing.. I like the quilt.. nice colors and interesting blocks.. I noticed it did say if you purchased 3 more yards you could expand it to Queensize.. be worth it to make it the size you are wanting..
