Thanks y'all. We are praying for a better treatment plan that will let her lead an almost normal life.

It's never good news when the phone rigs at 2 AM.
Last night we got the call that my wife's oldest sister passed. She was 83.
Her husband died in June and she just gave up. She wouldn't eat and she was extremely depressed.
My wife came from a family of 9 kids. There are 3 left.
So far this year we have lost my brother, my wife's BIL and sister.

Well I just got another one of those calls.
My cousin in Fairbanks Alaska just died.
She had been fighting cancer for a long time.
She was in her 50s.
Yesterday I found out my buddies sister died.
They found her unconscious. She died 9 days later.
They suspect it was diabetes.
That makes 5 this year.
I'm getting afraid to answer the phone.

Thanks again everyone.
My wife and I took a few days away from home and it's been a stress relief.
Now a 5 hour drive and my stress level will be up a little. Portland drivers are as bad or worse than Seattle drivers.

Just an update! My brother is still in the hospital, losing blood from a tumor in his colon. Waiting to know when they plan on doing surgery!! His three doctors are not working together really well. He is ready to get things done and get feeling better! We will see what today brings!!
