When I was a kid, just about every restaurant had an eating challenge. If one member of the family could finish it, every one's meal was free. When we came out of the bush for supplies once a year, my brothers were expected to "finish their plate or else." Steaks were rare because dang near every one could polish off a steak of any size if they were back woods types. I remembder that on one trip, McDonalds was just built. The only one for hundreds of miles. Dad talked them into an eating challenge. My oldest brother had to eat 25 cheese burgers,
Food challenges became unsustainable and went the way of the dodo bird.
Tried a new recipe today.
It's a vegetarian recipe.
It's acquired taste.
I haven't acquired it yet.
Spaghetti made from carrots, zucchini.
It's different.
Maybe I made it wrong but I don't think so.
More likely my youngest niece left out a step or two.
I have tried vegetable spaghetti before. You will have review the ingredients, and see if she left something out then.
I have tried vegetable spaghetti before.
But this was way different.
Taste, texture etc.
Definitely missingWe made it minus the hamburger and it tasted about same.
Must of been something missing or something added.
