Just had spicy turkey on corn tortillas with pineapple salsa, lettuce, and sour cream.
Tonight I had shrimp, hot & sour soup! First time I've really cooked anything since I cut my thumb.

Green vegetable salad with chicken strips, cantaloupe, leftover Dr Ornish chili and French bread.
"Fake" cheese coneys. Canned Skyline chili (you have to be from around here to know), beans, onions, cheese, hot dog on a bun.

Chicken salad made with canned chicken,hard boiled egg, dill pickle relish,1/4 cup of celery,diced onion mixed with spicy ground pepper mustard and chiptole mayo on grilled hamburger bun,chips,sugar free lime jello, unsweeten tea.

broiled salmon with a delectable sauce made of honey, lime, and ginger; jasmine rice; cut things that grow out of the ground and off of plants (I'm sick of the words "vegetable" and "salad")
Beef stew with taters, carrots & peas served with fresh bread and a bowl of home made ice cream for desert.

Thai chicken soup
A man up the road hired me to Id a bunch of plants on his farm. I didn't get home til 7pm, to late to cook. I had a frozen pizza made by the "Real Good Pizza Co". It was actually really good, which means they will be out of business soon. Every 4 or 5 years I'll find a frozen pizza I like and within a year the stores will stop selling them.
We had McDonalds salads and a Brahms milkshake.

Had a ground chicken burger with grilled mushrooms and onions and avocado.
Tonight is leftover venison stew and corn bread. Pear walnut cake in the oven.

cavatini, French bread, Caesar salad
A couple of days ago I bought boar's head roast beef from the good deli in the big town. So... tonight I made patty melts with pepper jack cheese on good Italian bread from the good bakery. God I love those... I had good Cole slaw from the good deli and added some chopped jalapeno fresh from the porch (mine are still producing). I opened a can of whole kernel corn, heated with real Irish butter and spiced the corn with Old Bay seasoning... it takes a can of corn to a whole new level...
I was blissfully comatose for an hour afterward.
On my list of things to learn... how to make my own fresh horseradish sauce... Any suggestions?

I think I'll cook up a big pot of taco soup, and put most of it in the freezer for the upcoming autumn weather

If only you were closer, we could trade a couple of meals
That would be nice DadeM. We froze enough for about 15 more meals.
Stir frying shrimp, chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, mushrooms and green onions with a little low sodium soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. Making enough for a few days.
I think I will try something different and fix some food for dinner.
No idea for tonight but I've got some chicken going for chicken and dumplings for tomorrow. Its getting to be that time of year, all rainy and stuff.
