Well, work, working on our old house (which we are finally ready to put on the market), working on my mother’s place, working on my daughter’s new home, working on our place. And, occasionally, taking some photos and doing a little painting.

@Meerkat LOL! Our “fireplace” is really a built in wood stove, and that’s because of hearing stories like your from our family and friends. We’ve used it several times since moving in and really like it.

Watching our granddaughter and working on a better solution for my firewood until I build a proper woodshed this summer. Not fancy or original but it seems to work well and isn’t an eyesore.

Built a window seat for the den. Wanted to get the basic part done before the painters, and will build the top either tomorrow or next weekend. The cove trim is subtle but I like it.

Built some cages out of cattle panels and t posts to protect the fruit trees. One peach is probably too far gone as a buck absolutely destroyed it. A spruce got badly damaged last winter but made it through but has already been hit again this year. Hopefully the cages will save the others...

Just Momio and I today for Christmas so we decided to get some fresh air out on our property.

Big family get together that was both great and great to leave. Did a carving for a work giveaway each week since Thanksgiving and this is the last. Will paint and add the magnet tomorrow morning.

New house build is progressing. The overgrown cross fencing and what was left of the old barn were cleaned up by a kind neighbor and his D6 Cat. That allowed the contractor to push out the topsoil from the path of the driveway and compact the clay soil. Also, trim and doors are installed...
